What the company says

“This is the first Fine Fettle in North Haven and the Greater New Haven area, which allows us to reach even more people than before in the state,” Benjamin Zachs, Fine Fettle’s chief operating officer, said in the company’s Oct. 22 announcement. “Access is key, and we are excited to grow that in our home state.”

Zachs said the staff will offer personalized guidance to help customers find products, “whether they are exploring cannabis for wellness, recreation, or medical impact.”

The company said the North Haven store is its seventh equity joint venture. Under Connecticut’s cannabis licensing rules, social equity applicants can partner with established operators. Fine Fettle did not name its North Haven partner in the announcement.

Ribbon-cutting Oct. 30

Fine Fettle plans a grand-opening ribbon-cutting at the store Friday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m.; its RSVP page lists the celebration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and promises limited-edition Fine Fettle T-shirts while supplies last. The company said local community leaders, its team and industry advocates are expected, along with appearances by Connecticut cannabis brands, including its own house brands comffy and AURA, and swag giveaways. The company is taking RSVPs on its Eventbrite page.

Fine Fettle’s other Connecticut stores are in Bristol, Manchester, Newington, Norwalk, Old Saybrook, Stamford, Willimantic, Waterbury and West Hartford. The company grows and manufactures its products in Bloomfield.
