NORTH HAVEN — If you are heading to the Rec Center to vote early, bring a can of yams or a box of stuffing with you. Starting Sunday, Oct. 25, North Haven’s Registrars of Voters and Community Services are collecting Thanksgiving food for the town’s food bank at the early voting site, under a new program they are calling the Voters Assisting Neighbors Initiative, or VANS.
